Using ink and bleach to achive an organic and natural process, the resin is used to reflect our figures to this almost lifesize reality of looking at someone in the eyes and seeing yourself. The cracks resembling veins, calling on the importance of observing anothers eyes as a way to reflect our own identity and what is internal.
Seeing yourself in anothers eyes as a projection of your own perspective.

Opia; (n.) the ambiguous intensity of looking someone in the eye, which can feel simultaneously invasive and vulnerable. Eyes bottomless and opaque, as if you are looking at yourself, unable to tell if you are looking in or out.
